This is one of the last projects I took on while on staff at McSweeney’s. This cover features hits of iridescent foil and diecut eyeholes. One thing that’s cool is the eyes seem to follow you around when you walk around the room. The cover concept is by me, with illustrations by Andrea Settimo, lettering and art direction by Sunra Thompson.
Screenprinted boards reveal a smoking figure.
